Few real estate executives in the region can match Art Rosenberg’s experience. Art has amassed an impressive resume while leading transformative projects throughout the upper Midwest. A native of Bismarck, North Dakota, graduate of St. Mary’s Central High School and the University of North Dakota, Art’s aptitude for leadership was displayed early as he was elected North Dakota Boys State Governor prior to his senior year in high school.
With experience in government and community economic development, private equity, and real estate development, Art honed his organizational skills and developed an expertise for navigating the often complex regulatory culture of real estate development while serving as the assistant to the House Majority Leader in the North Dakota Legislature. Art served the cities of Tucumcari, NM, Marquette, MI, Grand Forks, ND, and greater Fargo-Moorhead as economic development coordinator where he created venture capital funds that raised millions to impact investments in primary sector businesses.
His commercial real estate experience includes tenures with world-renown firms Newmark Grubb Knight Frank and Brandt Holdings, Inc.; developer of Fargo’s Urban Plains, a 200-acre development in southwest Fargo, The Marcil Group; a multi-state redevelopment firm impacting numerous communities across the country. He takes great pride in several high-level projects he developed including: the re-development of KI Sawyer Air Force Base in Marquette, Michigan; the Alien Technology complex in Fargo’s Technology Park, and Ulteig Engineers Corporate Offices in Fargo and Detroit Lakes, Minnesota.
Art’s entrepreneurial spirit is evident through his founding and operating of several startups and propelling many intermediary businesses to new levels. He continues to serve on the boards of many of the companies he assisted. Art is a licensed real estate broker and owns Capital Commercial Realty Group. Art, his wife Mary and daughter Alexis live in Fargo.
